Nay Wa Mitego has announced his move to distance himself from. Tanzania awards. Free Nation label management,via a circular that has reached Vibe Mtaani desk, have made it clear that their boss won’t be a participant of Tanzania Music Awards.
Free Nation outlines it’s lack of trust on the process which the academy scrutinize artistes songs. To this effect, the label has apologized to their fans and stakeholders in the industry at large. They have however, advised them not to vote Nay Wa Mitego. The reset move by the label is to advocate for equality for all artists.
