Tanzania singer Phina has rained praises to Kenya singer Otile Brown. Phina believes that most of the time people don’t understand the real Otile Brown.
In an interview with Simulizi na Sauti, Phina disclosed how Otile Brown is a nice guy when you have a chance to meet him. she says Otile gave him a chance to do a song together when nobody knew about her.
“I wanted to do a song with Otile Brown though I was young with no name in the industry , ” Phina said.
Before meeting him, she was discouraged since many people termed Otile as an arrogant artist who is full of himself.
“I was afraid of meeting him, he is very welcoming. We met one day almost midnight since he was on a shoot and was keen to listen to me,” reveals Phina.
Later that night Otile Brown sent beats to Phina to see her strengths.
The Upo Nyonyo singer reveals more details about how Otile Brown is an amazing human being despite what is portrayed in the media about him.
“Otile Brown understood my position well as an independent artist. I had enough cash to produce a quality video and also pay him, ” Phina reveals.
The singer reveals that all they had to do is go to Arusha and meet Otile Brown who was also shooting his other project.
When the project was done, Otile Brown used his time and resources, he kept pushing the project.
“Most of the time Otile speaks what is in his mind without a filter. That’s how people misunderstood it,” clarifies Phina.
She has however termed that as a blessing in disguise.
