Tanzanian singer Rayvanny has revealed that Nigerian superstar Wizkid offered him valuable advice when he was planning to leave his former label, WCB Wasafi.
Rather than follow the common path of publicly criticizing labels upon departure, Wizkid urged Rayvanny to handle the situation as peacefully as possible and avoid speaking negatively about Wasafi. The Nigerian artist reminded him that the label had provided the platform he needed to build his brand, and that parting ways should be done as seamlessly as possible.
“You don’t need to say anything negative to those who support you,” Rayvanny shared.
