Karole Kasita is a Ugandan musician, singer, and songwriter whose rise to fame came after releasing numerous hit songs including “Binyuma” which were and are played on radio and TV stations all over the country. Kasita who went to St. Joseph’s College in Naggalama for her high school education was born in the central region of Uganda on April 25, 1989.
She started singing when she was in high school where she wrote her own songs which she performed to her classmates and friends.
After her high school education, she went to Makerere University Business School in Nakawa, Kampala, Uganda. At Makerere she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship.
Kasita decided to turn her love of music into a career after she graduated from Makerere University. She recorded her first song, “bounce it,” while she was still in college.
Her 2016 collaboration with fellow Ugandan musician Nutty Neithan in 2016 was an instant hit and opened more doors for her as well as boosting song writing skills not forgetting her hit song Binyuma.
