Alexis Sanchez has decided he wants to
leave Arsenal in the summer transfer
window, according to reports.
The 28-year-old forward has greatly
impressed for the Gunners this term
but it’s understood he has grown
increasingly frustrated with the side’s
lack of progress domestically and in
Starsport suggest Sanchez has now
made up his mind that he’s ready to
quit and will be pushing for a move to
Sevilla at the end of the 2016/17
It’s believed the Chilean superstar is
looking to join forces with his former
international boss, Jorge Sampaoli, at
the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium.
The report claims Sanchez’s team-
mates in north London are already
aware Sanchez wants to move on and
he has made no secret of this fact.
Sampaoli has been a revelation in
Spain since taking over the reins at
Sevilla last June, with the side sitting
third in La Liga.
Meanwhile, Massimiliano Allegri has
reportedly informed friends he will
take over from Arsene Wenger as
Arsenal manager this summer.
It’s understood Allegri is unhappy with
Juve following a bust up with defender
Leonardo Bonucci, with the manager
recorded using strong language to
admonish the player in a heated
exchange, following a recent Serie A
Bonucci was subsequently banished to
the stands for Juventus’ Champions
League round of 16 first leg trip to
Porto, but has since made up with
Allegri, though the latter is said to be
upset the club did not support him
during this fall-out.
At Arsenal, meanwhile, opposition to
Wenger’s 20-year reign appears to be
growing; a section of fans are planning
a protest march against the
Frenchman’s continued presence at the
club, ahead of the upcoming visit of
