Reknowned media personality Mwinyi Kazungu has one more step ahead to become an MCA. This comes a day after being nominated by his party to fly it’s flag high in Mwavumbo Ward on 9th August. Amani National congress presented Kazungu with his certificate of nomination.
Mwinyi Kazungu is one of the many radio presenter who quit their lucrative jobs to represent ‘their’ people. Notably, his collegue Prince Bonnie Musambi also resigned from KBC to vie for Kitui Central MP seat. Jalango left Kiss and is eying to represent Langata constituency.
With a career spanning more than a decade, Kazungu has resolved to help his community. Being an MCA will see him boost his efforts of redeeming the youths from drug abuse and crime related activities. While on radio, Mtetezi used his platform to help youths and artistes to showcase their talent.
The former Top Mashariki host has promised to continue with his partnership with Kwale County Government to set up social amenities within Mwavumbo Ward. Adding that his annual Mdune festival will go on in a bigger way.
Since February he has been holding rallies helping the youths, women and also doing some community development jobs.
