Money is not everything in a relationship but it plays a critical role. Content Creator Mungai Eve in December 2024 was in the spotlight over her sentiments concerning lover’s financial stability in a relationship.
Via her podcast Hey Girl, Mungai Eve claimed she I’ll disrespect any guy dating her while earning less money than her. She believes a man should earn more money to gain his respect.
“If you marry me and I am earning KSH 1million and you are earning KSH 80,000 shillings, I will disrespect you unknowingly. A man should be the head,” Mungai Eve warned.
The outspoken creator says she doesn’t buy the idea of couples growing together and building themselves from scratch. Mungai being financially stable has urged men to date young ladies who have not yet made it but, not her.
Highlighting about her relationship with Director Trevor, Mungai Eve disclosed not being a submissive lady. Insinuating that she might have been making more cash or wasn’t ready to grow financially with Trevor.
“When I was dating Trevor, I wasn’t submissive until I met my current partner. Lately, I cook even without being asked.”
Director Trevor and Mungai Eve shot to the limelight after starting a YouTube channel and interviewing young upcoming artists. After gaining much success in the online space, the two decide to part ways after being together for more than four years.
