Hopekid third album is almost finished. The singer has not released any song this year after doing Testimony featuring Khaligraph Jones last year.
Speaking during a local radio interview, Hopekid revealed that he has been working on a new sound. The new sound will be evident in his forthcoming album.
The General album will have 80% of it’s songs in kiswahili. Adding that will will maintain his dancehall vibe only that in this particular album, he has concentrated singing in Swahili.
With the current Covid-19 challenge, the live up singer is set to do a live album launch. Currently he is in talks with various media houses to strike a deal. A deal that will see him launch his album on Tv and reach a wider audience. This will go hand in hand with social media users who will have also a chance to watch the live launch of Hopekid’s album.
His album will be out by end of this July hopefully. It has major collabos featuring the likes of Mr.Seed,Dk Kwenye Beat,Kriss Eh Baba and his artist Prince Jawabu among others.
