Petra and Tommy Lee Sparta song Territory has caused unrest from the two artist’s camp. Petra is likely to face a court order of about 3 Million Kenyan shillings. This is according to Boss Lady Muzik management that represents Tommy Lee.
According to Tommy Lee Sparta management, the artist charges $20,000 upwards to feature in a song. However, that did not happen since Tommy Lee and Petra had other side agreement and no payment was requested. This has made the management of both sides be in logerhead about the business aspect. Boss Lady Muzik alleges learning about their artist’s vocals were used when the song was uploaded on youtube. Something that goes out of protocol on how they operate business.
The second aspect that will see Petra cough additional $10,000 is the video scenes used in Territory video. Boss Lady Muzik claim Petra used the ‘Spartan Empire’ scenes without their consent.
Petra management BigMasterz did the whole project but Boss Lady Muzik which manages the dancehall artist wants to have a higher percentage over the project : Defending their stand that Tommy is an international brand with worldwide recognition.
Producer Tee Jewel shares that Tommy Lee vocals were recorded on iphone. This leaves him wondering why they want to frustrate Petra with huge bills.
