America president Joe Biden has announced that he won’t be defending his re-election bid. Via his official X account, Biden said not seeking reelection is doing justice for his party and the country at large.
“While it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term, ” Biden announced.
The democratic party flag bearer has endorsed his Vice President Kamala Harris to lead the party into the November elections.
“Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this, ” Biden wrote.
The 46th President has revealed to dedicate the rest of his days at white house on his duties.
