High Court Uphelds Singer Jaguar Victory

Starehe MP Charles Njagua alias Jaguar is a happy guy after the high court upheld his August election win.

High Court Judge Fred Ochieng has ruled that Jaguar was validly elected in the August 8 2017 elections.

Jaguar’s supporters broke into song and dance outside the court after the ruling that upheld his election.

Jaguar was flanked by Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie who described the petition as
a failure at inception.

The judge has ordered the petitioner ODM’s Steve Mbogo to pay Ksh. 10 million in costs.

Jaguar described the ruling as fair and thanked his lawyers for a good job and supporters for standing with him.
