Kenyan comedian Henry Desagu had confirmed battling depression a situation that has kept away from the spotlight for a while now.
The Mwihoko comedian took to his social media accounts to announce the unfortunate state he has found himself begging assistance to overcome the situation
“Today, Desagu is facing one of the toughest challenges of his life: depression. As many of us know, mental health struggles can affect anyone, and Desagu is no exception.”
According to the Desagu team, the comedian is currently admitted and responding well to treatment before he bounces back to his feet again.
“He’s currently in the hospital, receiving treatment, including ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy) as advised by his doctor. The road to recovery will take time.”
His team is appealing to well-wishers to chip in financial support and also emotional support to ensure the funny man recovers swiftly.
