WCB Wasafi boss had confirmed that all the processes necessary to facilitate Mbosoo departure from the label have been finalized and the singer has already left the label.
Diamond confirmed that Mbosso approached him two weeks ago with great humility asking him permission to leave the label and start managing himself.
“Mbosso is my family and everyone in the label knew that I signed him because I like him as a person.”
Diamond says it was easy to let Mbosso leave the label because they had a great relationship and no day they two ever argued. Despite the hodari crooner ready to pay and terminate his contract, Diamond Platnumz refused.
“I haven’t charged Mbosso a dime and right now he is a solo artist who manages himself.”
The Naanzaje singer says the situation will be different with another artist who might bnit have respected him. Adding that Mbosso has his blessings and will protect and collaborate with him where necessary.
