Jamaican superstar Cecile landed in Nairobi Monday night for a major performance that is coming up soon. The singer who is not new to the Country has had a good year in the music industry and her visit to Kenya comes at an opportune time. She was invited by Kenyan reggae powerhouse Dohty Family who are celebrating their 13th anniversary in the entertainment scene.
Cecile who was in Dubai for a concert at TribeCa over the weekend decided to not take a rest after the show. She landed in Nairobi and had an interview with Homeboyz Radio on the morning show. She spoke to Gmoney about her upcoming gig that is set to be held at Carnivore. The show is this coming Friday 8th December and it is bound to be a great show.
She is the second reggae artist to arrive in the Country after Glen Washington landed too. Glen is performing next week Monday 11th December but may also make a cameo if he is invited by Dohty family. Cecile and Kenyans will be looking out for this show this Friday. Cecile is a great performer as she showed the last time she was in the Country.
Her last visit also led to her jumping on a track with Kenya’s dance hall super star Wyre. They produced one of the most played dance-hall tunes at the time. The track known as She Say Dat was loved by everyone who was feeling the dance-hall vibes back in 2013.
