Kenyan singer Bien has revealed turning down an offer of 2 million dollars to perform at the rapper Darassa event. This revelation has posed many questions and raised eyebrows across the East Africa showbiz industry at large.
“Darassa personally called me and offered me 2 million dollars to come and perform at his show,” Bien said.
Bien said the reason for rejecting Darassa’s offer was purely out of love and respect for his craft. At a personal level, Bien says he is a big fan of the rapper’s music.
The Sauti Sol member recalled how Darassa stayed with him until morning when be was scheduled to perform in a certain event in Mombasa.
Bien has constantly spoken highly of Darassa in more than one interview. He reffers to him as a blood brother and respects his work ethic.
