Hatred in the kenya gospel industry and lack of support has led to closure of EMB Records Label. This means Denno,Weezdom and an artiste that was yet to be revealed this year, their contracts are now null.
Kevin Bahati admits that he has incurred a great loss but he doesn’t regret it. All he was doing was serving God . His disappointments come from him being the talk of town in a negative way.
Because Christians face criticism and need to be strong and cement their faith,Baha couldn’t take it anymore. The hate that he faces from the public is not much that from the people he helped from scratch.
” Right now as we speak in the country,I have become one of the most talked about artiste. I am the kind of artiste who receive a lot of hate. Receiving hate is not bad but, what is the need of me receiving hate from people I created from scratch?”
Mtoto wa mama added that there is no need to help new artistes in the ministry and end up with a bad name. Instead of the artistes giving back or appreciate him, they create fake stories to trend.
The Machozi singer added that his fellow gospel counterpart are jealous of his success. Most of them thought he was making his money from the artistes he was signing. That made them mad and wanted EMB Records tremble down ultimately.
Bahati has dissolved EMB Records but has insisted that his ministry of giving is going on.
Bahati is now focusing on a new project. Opening up a children’s home. He wants to see many street kids back to school.
