I don’t know if creating is a thing of the past or that sampling is the new trend.
I happen to listen to some two tracks one done by Lang’ Katalang‘ and the other one by Sauti Sol. What got my attention is the rare coincidence in same key words in a line in the two songs.
It’s either some guys are busy perfecting their art while some are simply copy pasting. Given the respect I got for Sauti Sol, something is not working from their side. They signee,Bensol falls an attack from netizens by how his particular lyrics are seen like are a copy paste issue.
Wagwan by Lang’ Katalang‘ is one month old as am writing this article while Extavaganza by Sauti Sol ft Bensoul is 3 weeks old.
